A storage diagnostic needed to report which storage binding was active without importing chats or turning on retention. The first installation attempt failed its readiness boundary.
The delivery receipt records an initial apply followed by rollback after a premature readiness check; the exact original files and preference state were subsequently verified.
The retry installed the metadata-only diagnostic with a bounded HTTP readiness check and preserved all 20 preference fingerprints.
Authentication checks still refused unauthenticated and invalid-origin requests; the diagnostic operation recorded no chat import, retention activation, deletion, provider inference, or session send.
The storage identity and readiness checks establish that diagnostic only. They do not establish a retention policy, storage ownership for a future cache, automatic reader recovery, or the ability to continue a native session. Physical Safari acceptance and catalog/history reads were not repeated in this diagnostic operation.
