ABL / Dated implementation assessment
ABL today
A working system is more than a list of capabilities. This is the dated view of what has been inspected, what has been observed running, and what still needs an end-to-end demonstration.
Field report / implementation evidence
The parts exist.
The whole path still needs proof.
A dated view of ABL’s implementation, with the handoffs that still need an end-to-end demonstration.
Observed
At the assessment date
- Observed runningDesktop application
A running process was observed.
- Healthy response observedBackend health check
The checked route answered healthy.
Source present
Implementation inspected
- Conversations
- Memory
- Tasks
These surfaces exist in the implementation. A complete useful workflow has not been established by their presence.

Complete interaction unverified
The handoffs to demonstrate
- A clear goalOwner + acceptance check
- One admitted taskStable identity + progress
- A saved resultArtifact + evidence
- A successful returnContext restored after interruption
The dashed path is an acceptance test to complete, not a record of work already performed.
Open acceptance checks
The gaps stay visible.
- Automatic continuation
- Not active
The inspected response reported automatic resume disabled. Saving, retrieving and resuming context still need a complete test.
- Phone experience
- Not tested end to end
A responsive page does not establish a working application on a physical phone.
- Local first-pass success
- Unevaluated
No measured everyday-task pass rate is claimed. The 80% goal remains a target.
Read the proof boundaries
Observed: the desktop process and backend health response were checked on . This is not a current availability guarantee, a complete dependency audit or proof of successful task execution.
Source present: conversation, memory and task interfaces were found in inspected implementation code. Their existence does not establish that every handoff is wired or useful.
Still to prove: one admitted task should produce an inspectable result and survive an interruption with its identity and relevant context intact. The phone workflow and local success-rate evaluation require their own evidence.
How to read the evidence labelsA bounded snapshot, not a live promise
On October 22, 2026, the desktop application was observed running and a backend health check returned a healthy response. That establishes those observations at that time. It does not establish every integration, agent, model or user workflow as healthy.
The implementation includes a desktop workspace and integration surfaces for conversations, memory, agents and tasks. Source inspection establishes that these surfaces exist. Their presence does not establish that each one completes useful work.
What the evidence supports
- Desktop workspace
- Running process observed. Current signed-in interface behavior still needs its own complete workflow check.
- Backend connectivity
- A health response was observed. Dependency health and successful task execution require separate evidence.
- Task execution
- Existing task records are present. A new accepted, executed and completed task was not demonstrated by this assessment.
- History continuity
- The inspected continuity response had no saved records and automatic resume was disabled. Save, retrieve, interrupt and resume still need an end-to-end test.
- Local model options
- Local model files and stored metadata were inventoried. Presence on disk does not establish that a selected route loads, responds reliably or meets a quality target.
- Phone experience
- Distinct phone views are part of the intended system. A desktop page at a narrow viewport is not proof of a working application on a physical phone.
Prepared work is still prepared work
An offline candidate adds a native held-proposal save/status action, with typed content, stable identity, duplicate prevention and ownership checks. Its 18 offline tests passed. It creates no executable task and has not been installed or activated.
Public status corrections are being prepared so an old snapshot cannot masquerade as a current working agent. A code candidate, a passing fixture, an installed build and a published page are different milestones.
Experiments keep their dates
Earlier model training and serving experiments are documented in the lab’s writing. They describe a particular experiment and its limits; they are not evidence that today’s entire platform is ready. No new large-model benchmark or general reliability result is claimed here.
What would move this page forward
The next useful proof is a small complete interaction: a goal with an owner and acceptance check, one admitted task, visible progress, a saved result, and a successful return after an interruption. Each step needs an inspectable receipt.
The long-term direction is larger than this snapshot. The vision page describes that ambition without turning it into present-tense product claims.
